Horizons of Hope

Curious about palliative care and Church teaching about the end of life? We invite you to participate in a 4-part series called Horizons of Hope, on Thursday evenings 7 - 9 p.m. from January 23 to February 13, 2025. Our faith has much to teach us about living well until the end of life. The program, developed by the Canadian Bishops Conference, will help parishioners, families and care givers learn more through videos and small-group discussion. Themes include: understanding the dying process, discernment and decision making at the end of life, accompaniment and the importance of building Compassionate Communities. It is our hope that the program will empower parishioners to accompany loved ones and community members who are suffering.
