Thank you for considering the possibility of being married at St. Basil’s Parish. We want to support and assist you in the best way possible as you embark on this very important commitment in your lives.

In the Catholic faith, marriage is one of the seven sacraments of the Church. We believe marriage is a unique, life-long partnership of total and mutual self-giving love. A Catholic marriage is a covenant, implying that a relationship to God, through Jesus Christ, exists with and between both husband and wife. A wedding is the celebration of that same covenant love between God and God's people that is now symbolized in the love of two individuals.

This page is intended to communicate a few important details for you to consider as you make plans for your wedding.

This process typically takes several months, so contact us at St. Basil’s as soon as possible. For couples who are not getting married at St. Basil’s but require the Pastor to prepare you for marriage, a donation of $150.00 is appreciated.

  • A: Since each case is different, please contact the parish office to schedule an appointment with the priest to discuss your particular situation.
