Rental Rates Includes:
Rates vary depending on room size. Tables and chairs for your event are included with your room rental. Audio and visual equipment is also included in your room rental. Any additional items may be subject to additional fees (see Optional Rentals Page for details).
Booking and Payment:
A 25% deposit is due at the time of booking. Full payment is required the day of the event. Payment should be made by cheque or cash.
You have two weeks after a deposit is received to cancel an event and receive your deposit back. After two weeks, the deposit is retained by no other financial pen
It is the responsibility of the client to arrange for their own “Special Occasion Permit”. St. Basil’s must be aware that alcohol will be served at your event at least two weeks prior to the event.
Short-term storage of items is available only with prior permission obtained near the agreed time of rental, and is also dependent on our own space limitations. Storage is subject to fees. St. Basil’s does not take responsibility for items stored on the premises.
All rooms are equipped with ceiling-mounted projects or television screens. All rooms also are equipped with audio equipment and a wireless microphone suitable for the size of each room. Internet is available on site with guest-user access. Any additional equipment needs should be discussed at the time of the rental agreement.
St. Basil’s offices are open from 9:00 am – 8:00 pm on weekdays and until 6:30 pm on weekends. Early or late access to rooms is available for an additional cost of $75/hr. Arrangements must be made for early or late access no later than 14 days prior to your event.
Candles are permitted is designated spaces only. Use of candles must be discussed with St. Basil’s staff prior to use.
Smoking is not permitted with in 9 meters of any building by city ordinance. Additionally, the University of St. Michael’s College allows smoking on campus is designated areas only.
