Soprano Hallie Fishel and lutenist John Edwards of The Musicians In Ordinary are joined by the St Michael’s Schola Cantorum directed by Michael O’Connor. Violinist Christopher Verrette leads the five-piece early music band, Pneuma Ensemble. The concert will include plainchant, Cantigas de Santa Maria from 13th century Galicia/Portugal, and works by Italy’s Claudio Monteverdi, England’s Orlando Gibbons and William Byrd, and more.
Admission is free, donations are welcome towards the Syrian refugee family sponsored by USMC.
