Awake the Voice is Calling Us: Christian Humanism in Music

Rashaan Allwood presents a recital of organ music inspired by advent hymns. This lecture-recital will feature a 15 minute introduction of humanism in Christianity and how that influenced the nature of German organ music. The chorales will be sung by the audience before each solo organ piece, so bring your singing voices!

Admission is free, donations accepted towards the music programme of St. Basil’s Catholic Parish.
