Easter Retreat

The Newman Centre is blessed to have Fr. Jacques guide the community on the importance of living the Beatitudes. In this retreat, Fr. Jacques will show how true joy comes from spiritual poverty lived according to the Gospel. Father will give examples from the Scriptures to teach what it means to be spiritually poor before God, ourselves, and our brothers and sisters.

Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom

Please note that the Eastern Liturgy, which usually takes place on the first Sunday of the month, has been moved to the second Sunday of the month for April, May, and June. The Liturgy begins at 2:00PM in the Sanctuary. If you are interested in attending one of these services, or finding out more about the Oriental Eastern Catholic Church, please contact the parish office.

Harpsichord Recital

All are welcome to join Faculty of Music Undergraduate Student Adrian Ross as he presents a harpsichord recital with music from the 1600s from 1750s featuring works by Bach, Rameau, Scarlatti, Byrd, and Frescobaldi. Saturday, April 14 7:30PM St. Basil’s Catholic Parish Admission by freewill donation. Proceeds from this recital benefit St. Basil’s Catholic Parish music programs.
